Welcome

Thanks for dropping by and having a look at the site dedicated to my walk from Land’s End to John O’Groats.

You can read the blog I kept every day of my walk, writing it up each day on my netbook or iPhone before uploading to the website, with all of the spelling mistakes, missed words etc. preserved for all time. A definite labour of love some days I can tell you!

You can also look through the vast majority of the thousands of photos I took as I made my way up the country.

If you’re interested to see where I went, I’ve documented all of the route details, including walking times, elevation information and interactive maps for each day of the walk.

There are also other snippets of information and advice that might help if you were to ever take on this challenge yourself.

Hopefully you’ll enjoy reading about my little adventure, and maybe – just maybe – you’ll get inspired enough to give it a go yourself!

Oh, and if you’re curious about why someone might decide to take on a challenge like this, you can read more about how I decided to walk LEJOG, and what inspired me to do so.

Made it! At the signpost at John O’Groats
