Video montage

Now that I’m back home I’ve sorted out a video montage of a small selection of the photos I took on the walk. You can view the video above – make sure you’ve got you’re speakers on as the photos have been set to a very special song that means a lot to me. Hope you like it.

Lots more to be added over the coming days/weeks. I’ve got about 3000 photos to sort through, route maps to finalise now that I can do them from where I stayed one night to the next and a whole load of other bits and bobs besides. It’s going to keep me busy for a little while me thinks!?!

Came out ok didn’t it? Not bad for a first attempt of ever trying to do something like that 🙂

Plenty more pictures to come though. I’m currently working my way through them. There’s a new “Photos” section in case you hadn’t spotted it in the menu. Four days down and plenty more to go!

I’m trying my best to tie the photos to what they were or where they were for their description so it’s taking a little bit of time to get them sorted out. I’ll get there in the end though.

Beautiful photos and lovely choice of music and words – tell me who it is and the name of the song – very poignant.

It’s a song called “Home” by the Foo Fighters. As you say, very poignant and it reminds me of mum and dad too.

I’ll have to find it and download it. It’s certainly been an eventful year for us both – the trip to Oz and NZ was a watershed for me too – I came back feeling much stronger for it, I hope you feel the same way about your amazing achievement too.

          I’ll email it to you.

I’m glad to hear that the trip to Oz and NZ helped you and yes, the walk was definitely a turning point for me.
